ANGLING IN WILTSHIRE ON THE KENNET & AVON CANAL

 

BRIMSLADE the golden mile & CHURCH REACH a winter hotspot

 

Marlborough & District Angling Association boasts some of the finest fishing in England along 15+ miles of canal running through the beautifully scenic Wiltshire country side from the Froxfield parish boundary at Little Bedwyn through to Milkhouse waters near Pewsey which includes the highest reaches on the canal

Open all year round on most of our venues the different reaches offers various sport with Roach spread throughout the canal there are some reaches with Carp going over 20lbs other reaches produce good weights of bream and tench every bodies favorite canal fish. There is also a nice head of Perch and gudgeon ideal on those cold winter league matches to put a few fish in the net.

For the predator hunter the canal holds a good head of pike running well into double figures which can be caught all year round on a variety of methods which although they are more difficult to catch in the summer they seem to fight twice as hard

Full membership £35, OAP & Disabled membership £10, Juniors £10, new member £5 joining fee, season runs from January 1st to December 31st inclusive

From September 31st to December 31st membership only £15 (associate membership only and not lake)

All subscriptions to be renewed before January 1st or you are classed as a new member
