With overnight snow then heavy rain expectations were of another tough match,but surprisingly milkhouse fished well with plenty of bites. Only six fished but the weights were pretty good.

Despite the poor weather forecast 7 fished Sundays club match on the lake. Bites were very few and far between with very little interest from even small fish.

9 fished Sundays Christmas match at farmers. With water levels down a good 12 inches the fishing as expected was tough with only small fish showing. Ben made the most of his end peg to be a comfortable winner.

Work is continuing on the lake with two swims and the bridge nearing completion. Hopefully dry weather will arrive soon so that we can continue without the banks turning into a mud bath. A big thank you to Mike, Lisa and Simon for their help...
Sunday's lake match 25th February is cancelled. Lake levels are very high and still rising after todays heavy rain. The banks are very soft and difficult to walk on yet alone push barrows around. The match will be rearranged for later in the year. Apologies...
